hello readers, I hav found an intresting Bug... just try it.

The instructions and screenshots are given below


1> copy any URL say " http://www.microsoft.com/ "

2> create new notepad file. as shown in screenshot below








3> name that folder to "[your URL].txt" <u will get prompt messege..>




Your filename becomes " httpwww.microsoft.com.txt "




4> open that file and just right click and copy.....


u will see that the URL which u hav copied earlier becomes
" httpwww.microsoft.com " . you will find " \\ " missing.




Try this and giv reply...

yar yebug nahi hai...windows filename k time per special charecters khud hi omit kar deta hai."//" is also not allowed...Itz not a BUG

^^ Pls follow the 4th step Mr. Vasu..

after renaming open that file...and paste again

normally it the hyperlink should be http://www.microsoft.com but when you paste it in the notepad file the clipboard contents will be changed to   

" httpwww.microsoft.com. "

hav u understood what i want to say..????

It is a clipboard bug. The clipboard contents should not be affected because of the file naming parameters. But they are.


It's a Microsoft world kid, I am just living in it.
