How about this tweak for the Windows 7 Superbar. Anyone notice the taskbar reference for Windows Vista being called TaskbarGlomLevel?
Since the Windows 7 Superbar looks like the Apple Dock in more ways than not, maybe change that a little using this tweak.
+Open regedit by clicking the start menu and in the search box enter regedit and click on the Registry Editor link that appears.
+Find the key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced by dropping down HKEY_CURRENT_USER then expand Software > Microsoft > Windows > Currentversion > Explorer > Advanced
+Add a DWORD by right clicking, and mouseover New, then click DWORD Value (32 Bit) named TaskbarGlomLevel
+Set the value of this DWORD to 1 to enable the Vista functionality. In the future, to disable this, simply set the value to 0 or you can delete this DWORD value.
+Log off and back on for the changes to appear.
I am now trying the 64 bit tweak to see if it works. If you would like to assist me, then if you have 64 bit, create the QWORD values (64 bit) instead of DWORD values. Post back here or on the original community posting
